PPG Partners with Italian Powder Coating Distributer
Paint and Coating manufacturer PPG has announced a strategic partnership with Saro/Siccardi, Italy’s largest distributor of powder coatings. The collaboration aims to strengthen PPG’s distribution network in Italy and provide customers with access to a broader range of PPGs powder coating products and services.
“Teaming up with SARO/Siccardi, a trusted leader in the market, will accelerate our growth in Italy,” said Gianfranco Corvi, PPG market manager for Italy, Industrial Coatings. “This partnership combines PPG’s global leadership in powder coating technology with SARO/Siccardi’s local expertise to offer enhanced product protection and a seamless customer experience.”
The partnership will focus on providing customers with tailored solutions, technical support, and competitive pricing, while also gaining insights into their specific needs.
Demand for powder coatings increases

PPG has been expanding its powder coating business since 2019 through partnerships, acquisitions, and investments in research and development, as well as expanding production capacity. Powder coatings are an environmentally friendly option, as they are solvent-free and can be reclaimed and reused, aligning with PPG’s sustainability goals of achieving 50% of sales from sustainable products by 2030.
