From pre-treatment to paint stripping
Paint stripping will also be covered. According to the manufacturer, the resource-efficient „Decorrdal“ thin-film technology is a key to designing an environmentally conscious and future-proof pre-treatment. The environmentally friendly thin-film technology offers cost-effective, phosphate-free, zirconium-based processes that replace conventional iron phosphating and zinc phosphating. It produces extremely thin, high-quality oxide and zircon/titanium layers on iron, zinc and aluminum substrates.
Thin-film processes are already being used successfully in industries such as the automotive and agricultural machinery industries, both for passivation purposes and for optimal coating pretreatment. According to the manufacturer, the available „Decorrdal 900” and “600” series reduce energy consumption and operating costs. Other products Kluthe is focusing on at the trade fair are the „Nikutex“ and „Cyclosol“ rinsing media.
Water-based pre-treatment
The latter is characterized by efficient circularity and recycling options, thus actively contributing to the reduction of waste and waste of resources. „Nikutex“ is also a water-based cleaning agent that is not only economical, but also significantly reduces environmental pollution.
Another pillar of the portfolio is the sustainable „Controx“ paint stripper. These can be used VOC-free and sparingly, which contributes to a significant reduction in harmful emissions.
