Complete pre-treatment in one step
The Dutch company AD Chemicals presents a pre-treatment at PaintExpo that enables cleaning and degreasing as well as the application of a conversion layer in a single step.
By applying the product directly after mechanical pre-treatment, a clean, ready-to-coat surface and an improvement in the quality of the coated substrate in terms of corrosion protection and paint adhesion is achieved. It can be used on steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and stainless steel as well as other metals. The conversion layer ensures better adhesion of powder and wet paints. It also increases the flash rust resistance on steel, white rust protection on zinc and the corrosion resistance of bare metal on aluminium, which enables an extended storage time before painting. The water-based product does not contain any solvents, chromium (VI) or hazardous substance symbols.
