Largest manual powder coating plant in the Czech Republic
The Czech project developer ITS finished the largest manual powder coating paint shop in the Check Republic witch 3,800 m².
The modern powder coating paint shop is designed to serve the high-end chip and semiconductor industry needs and was built for the company Fab-tech, a company that belongs to the Extye Group from the USA. Fab-Tech is producing solutions for the semiconductor and other industries like duct system for corrosive and hazardous fume exhaust needs.
Three powder coating lines
The new facility includes three manual powder coating lines with six paint booths and six curing ovens, operating at a nominal temperature of 275°C.
The powder coating lines are designed for different sizes:
- Jumbo Line (3 353 x 3 658 x 3 252mm)
- Standard Line (3 535 x 2 438 x 2 286mm)
- Ring Line (3 252 x 3 252 x 203mm)
The paint shop features state-of-the-art technology such as a 900 kg overhead conveyor system, multiple blast and wap boxes, and advanced neutralization stations.
This setup allows for the efficient production of oversized components, emphasizing high-temperature-curing of special powder paints in multiple layers. Part of the facility are five blast boxes, of which two are provided by Spolmont, a check supplier of blasting solutions.
