Twice as big as at the last PaintExpo, the paint and coatings manufacturer Teknos is presenting itself this year in Karlsruhe (Hall 1, Stand 1329). The focus is on innovative and sustainable coating solutions with concrete advantages in terms of appearance, functionality and economy. As a beacon solution for the energy sector, Teknos will be showing the latest generation of its Teknoblade Repair 9000 coating for wind turbines.

The elastomer-based high-solids coating is suitable both as preventive edge protection and for rotor blade repair. It creates an elastic protective layer up to 5 millimetres thick in just a single coat application. With up to six times more productive repair work on rotor blades and up to 50 percent less downtime of the plant, the innovative coating makes an important contribution to the future task of renewable energies.
