New piston pump series
The company Timmer will present new piston pumps at PaintExpo that are specially designed for the needs of paint shops.
The focus of Timmer’s exhibition appearance is set on the “timECO” product series. The experts have developed the product series specifically for the complex requirements of the coating industry. Thanks to their compact design, the electric piston pumps can be easily integrated into existing systems.
Due to the fast response time during the acceleration process of the pump, the ring line pressure can be reduced and thus energy costs can be significantly minimized. At the same time, the lower pressure also increases the service life of the medium. Among other things, the product series has a pump with a permanent flow rate of 10 litre per minute in its range.
Compact piston pumps for paint shops
“This is in line with current market requirements, as we are seeing a growing demand for small, compact pumps. Due to the low capacity, users save space and achieve a higher product quality of the coatings,” says Christian Thora, product specialist at Timmer. A technical optimisation of the electric piston pumps stems from the reduction of the cartridges they contain.
Since only two grease cartridges are now used to lubricate the components instead of four, user save costs and time in maintenance. Also new: the use of Tri-Clamp instead of conventional threads for pump connections. Thereby dead spaces and paint carryover are minimized, thus reducing the risk of contamination of the medium. In addition to pumps, a focus is set on the “quickLIFT”, an ergonomic lifting aid for everyday work. It allows goods weighing up to 50 kilograms to be lifted and moved ergonomically using vacuum lifting technology. In addition, Timmer will be presenting already established double-diaphragm pumps of the “timBOOST” series, “timPRO” and “timCHEM.
