Tour at IntAIRCOAT extended
The international aircraft coatings conference IntAIRCOAT just announced that the pre-conference tour now offers not only the Tour to the SATYS paint shop in Seville, but also the Final Assembly Line of the A400M at Airbus Defence at the San Pablo site in Sevilla.
IntAIRCOAT is the leading conference for coating experts from the aerospace industry and will take place from June 7 – 8 in Seville, Spain. The tour is a optional offer on June 6, the day before the conference.
Here visitors will be able to learn about the A400M, which is a state-of-the-art airlifter, that is used by armed forces of multiple European and non-European armed forces like France, Germany, Spain the UK or South Africa. Attendees of IntAIRCOAT 2023 will now be able to not only visit the paint shop of SATYS, where the coating of the European Airlifter is conducted but also the Final Assembly Line.
The Final Assembly takes place at the San Pablo site near Seville, which is one of Airbus Defence most important sites. Aside from the A400M final assembly of the twin-turboprop C295 takes place here. The A400M has the ability for tactical and strategic airlift missions, is capable of air-to-air refuelling and can carry loads of up to 37 tonnes and 340 m³ with a maximum range of up to 8900 km.
During the tour attendees will split up to smaller groups and visit both sites and be able to talk to experts on site. The tour itself is free of charge to attendees of IntAIRCOAT 2023, however registration to the tour is only possible until 28 may, due to security reasons.
