Elcometer will be showing their new range of entry-level abrasive blast equipment at PaintExpo in April. These Contractor Portable Abrasive Blast Machines are cost effective, easy to use and engineered for reliability.
Using industry standard remote control valves, grit valves and 1¼” (32mm) pipework, the Elcometer Contractor Blast Machines are highly competitive, easy to maintain and built to the same high quality as the Elcometer Performance and Performance HP blast machines.
Elcometer’s Performance blast machines are designed to improve blast efficiency, where the Performance HP high pressure blast machines ensure that the pressure at the nozzle is maintained for work at height or when using long hose runs. Throughout the blasting and coating process there is a need for inspection and Elcometer are able to offer the inspector all the tools required to fulfil their requirements.
From measuring the profile of the blasted surface using the Elcometer 224 Profile Gauge, to measuring cleanliness of the prepared surface with the Elcometer 130SSP Soluble Salt Profiler, complete with Bresle equivalent readings or accurately measuring the dry film thickness of the coating on either a ferrous or non-ferrous substrate with the Elcometer 456 Coating Thickness Gauge.
