New filter series for high temperatures and solvents

The new „WFPBT“ polyester folded elements now developed by Wolftechnik Filtersysteme GmbH are suitable for filtration tasks in connection with high temperatures and cleaning media containing solvents.

They offer an efficient and economical filtration option with a wide range of applications. Applications include main filters for solvent-based cleaning media, fine filters for hot degreasing baths, final filters for hot water in rinsing processes or particle filters for fine chemicals. The polyester pleated elements are manufactured in a clean room and are made entirely of polyester (PBT). A long service life due to a high dirt-holding capacity as well as high flow rates and a low differential pressure characterise the pleated elements of this series.

The high temperature resistance of the polyester elements should also be emphasised. Pleated elements are surface filters with a large filter area due to the pleated filter material and are particularly suitable for the filtration of aqueous suspensions, acids and alkalis where solid particles need to be separated at low differential pressures. The available filter finenesses range from 0.5 μm to 20 μm. All common adapter designs DOE, Code 0, Code 5 and Code7 are available in lengths from 10″ to 40″.
